Popis: The amount of Grid-connected photovoltaic power has been growing fast. The active frequency drift detection method is one of the most significant detection techniques. This paper proposes an improved active frequency drift islanding detection method which provides a reliable detection for single inverter or multiple inverters run in parallel. The performance of the method is simulated by Simulink. Improved active frequency drift method can reduce the impact on power quality and cut off photovoltaic systems within the required time.
