Popis:	This article discusses the differences in academic performance among male and female students in the education system at the Politeknik Merlimau Melaka. This study is an exploratory study using secondary data based on the assessment of coursework and final examination of Fiber Optics Communication System subject for a period of three semesters. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) package.
