Popis: | In this paper, we propose a secure programmable fog architecture for future Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The programmable feature in the proposed architecture enables us to achieve additional flexibility and support changes over the fog nodes deployed on a large scale network, where individual fog nodes are managed by the centralized fog controller. Specifically, the exchange of programmable content between the controller and the nodes is secured using blockchain. The performance evaluation of the proposed scheme shows significant improvements in reducing downtime and increasing reliability, as compared to conventional fog computing schemes. |
