Design of FOPI Controller for The Frequency Fixed Orthogonal Signal Generator (FFOSG) Based PLL through Genetic Algorithm

Popis: This paper proposes a novel phase-locked loop (PLL) algorithm based on a fractional order proportional plus integral (FOPI) controller, tuned through Genetic Algorithm (GA), together with an all-pass filter to generate the quadrature signals to overcome the phase peak response of the widely applied double second order generalized integrator PLL (DSOGI-PLL). For comparison criteria, this paper uses the steady-state phase-angle error, speed of response to disturbances and harmonic and unbalance rejection to confirm the viability and superior performance of the proposal.
