Popis: | The momentum for change in accounting education requires a better understanding of the educational requirements for different accounting career paths. This study contributes to this understanding by offering the viewpoints of certified management accountants on academic subjects relevant for careers in management accounting. In addition, the authors used Novin and Tucker's (1993) findings with respect to certified public accountants to identify perceived similarities in the education needed for management accounting, auditing, and tax careers, and dissimilarities from practitioners' points of view. |
