Popis:	A simple procedure is reported for the rapid dehydration of light microscopy specimens using 2,2 dimethoxypropane (DMP). This procedure offers the advantages of economy and reduction in dehydration time without a loss of staining or morphological quality when compared to conventionally prepared light microscopy tissues.
