Popis: Heavy metals pollution became formed a serious danger due to their nature of non-biodegradability, toxicity and their bio-accumulation in all living organism. Heavy metals as cadmium, lead, Aluminum, and Hexavalent chromium are toxic even in low concentrations and have negative morphological, physiological and biochemical effects in plant tissue and represent a serious health risks to human. This chapter gives a fast version of environmental heavy metal pollution in different newly developed regions. Egypt needed for understanding of the topic and discusses different heavy metal information aspects related to sources, metal toxicity, presence in the Egyptian habitats, factor affecting metal behavior in soil and Bio-remediation. Also comparing between traditional and biological treatments are needed with the aim to give an overview of the subject.
