Popis: | The field of matching Arabic names is a serious challenge when dealing with medical data, especially in decision making through social networking programs while using the mobile phone. Although many algorithms have been proposed in matching Arabic names, most studies focus on errors introduced by computers through the keyboard. To our knowledge, there is no study on matching the Arabic names entered by mobile phones. So in this work, we propose a new algorithm based on the convergence and spacing between the Arabic characters in the keyboard of the mobile phone. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm give more accurate results than the levenshtein algorithm. |
