Popis:	The use of spray-deposited silver acetylide-silver nitrate explosive as a means of producing impulive loadings on structural elements has been investigated. Presented are results of an exploratory study of procedures for production, application, thickness measurement, detonation and pulse-shape modification of this material. This technique appears to be a simple, inexpensive, flexible and safe approach to the production of relatively low-level (in the order of 4–50 psi-msec) and short-duration (in the order of a few microseconds) distributed impulsive loadings.
