Phenolic glycosides from young fruits of Citrullus lanatus

Popis: Two new phenolic glycosides, 2-caffeoyl-3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyric 4′-β- d -glucopyranosyloxy-3′-hydroxybenzyl ester and 2-caffeoyl-3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyric 4′-β- d -glucopyranosyloxybenzyl ester (citrulluside H and citrulluside T) were isolated from young fruits of Citrullus lanatus. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses. These constituents exhibited weak antioxidant activity.
