This project will serve as the dissertation for Chelsea Carson. The purpose of this study is to test the broad autism phenotype as a moderator of concurrent and longitudinal associations between relationship conflict and depressive symptoms. Research Questions 1) To what extent are relationship conflict and depressive symptoms bidirectionally associated, concurrently and longitudinally, in parents of a child on the autism spectrum? 2) To what extent does the Broad Autism Phenotype (BAP) moderator the concurrent and longitudinal association between relationship conflict and depressive symptoms? |
