Popis: In this paper, a fully integrated 7–9 GHz UWB radar sensor for human detect application is presented using the 0.13 µm CMOS technology. For high resolution and long detection range, the receiver using the equivalent time sampling method and the mixer with reference LO is adopted. Also, carrier-based transmitter can be digitally tuned for center frequency and bandwidth. Human detection range is expected up to 5.7 m. The chip size is 2.8 × 2 mm2, and current consumption is 96mW at 1.2V supply voltage.
