| Popis: | Suicides are one of the leading causes of death in our country. Suicides may be due to increased stressors in social, personal, family, financial and occupational domains. Nuclear families and lack of family support system in this rapidly growing era some-times contributes to the suicide. Mental disorders occupy a premier position in the matrix of causation of suicide. There are various suicide prevention strategies at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. Many organisations both government and non-governmen-tal are working day in and day out to control suicides by conducting campaigns and student awareness programs. |
