Popis: Wide signal bandwidth and high signal amplitude, which are desirable properties to achieve high data rates with linear communication systems, may cause performance degradation in through-tissue communication applications because of acoustic nonlinearity. In this talk, I will quantify the effects of acoustic nonlinearity on data rates and achievable bit error rates in a simulated through-tissue communication system.
