Popis: Introduction: Influenza A (H1N1) swl is characterized by significant systemic inflammatory reaction affecting the severity of clinical toxicity markers. The aim was to study the systemic inflammatory response in acute bronchitis, caused by influenza A (H1N1) swl, in women in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Methods: Viral infection in 25 patients with acute bronchitis was diagnosed using hemagglutination inhibition and PCR. At the height of the disease in the blood plasma there were determined middle molecule peptides (MMP) (absorbance units) and seromucoid (absorbance units). The cytokines IL-4 (pg/mL), TNF-α (pg/mL) and INF-γ (pg/mL) were measured in the serum by immunosorbent assay (the reagents were provided by “Protein contour”, St.Petersburg). MMP in blood plasma were measured by SF-24 spectrophotometer (wave length 280 nm), and seromucoid - by photoelectrocolorimeter (wave length 590 nm). Control indicators were 30 healthy pregnant women. Results: The patients with acute bronchitis showed increase in the concentration of MMP to 0,294±0,005 absorbance units, seromucoid to 0,134±0,004 absorbance units (in the control group – 0.243±0.001 absorbance units, p Conclusion: Women in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy with acute bronchitis of influenza etiology show increases in the level of endotoxins as well as pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines defining the clinical picture of the disease.
