Popis: The article presents flower pollination algorithm (FPA) algorithm which is applied on load scheduling problem with considering non-linear constraints like loading imbalance due to valve opening effect, ramp rate limit, forbidden zone etc. This algorithm is based on pollination process of flowers. The FPA is examined for 3-unit, 13-unit and 40-unit systems. Superioty of this algorithm has been proved by comparing results from other optimization algorithm.
