At the present stage of legal regulation of the provision of veterinary services, it is necessary to highlight the main directions in scientific development and specification, namely: the concept of "provision of veterinary services" as an object of civil rights; legal features of an animal as an object of civil rights; the ratio of activities for the provision of veterinary services and measures for the implementation of state veterinary control and supervision; the concept and characteristics of the contract provision of veterinary services. These directions are the basis of this work.
