Popis: | The transverse motion of fast charged particles within a crystal in the continuous potential field of atomic chains may be quantized. In the present study, the eigenfunctions of the discrete spectrum of the transverse motion of an electron in the field of a single atomic chain or a pair of parallel chains are determined (with [110] chains in a silicon crystal used as an example). The differences between eigenfunctions in the cases corresponding to regular and chaotic motion within the classical limit are demonstrated. |
