This poster reports on the relationship between Swiss and Italian graphic design during the 20th century, by visualizing and analyzing the community of Swiss graphic designers active in Italy. Two exhibitions held in 2012 at Museum fur Gestaltung Zurich and Triennale di Milano focused on the two national scenes, with meaningful overlapping in terms of authors and artifacts. Many Swiss graphic designers are and have been active in Italy, and they represent the most influential community of foreign designers in Italy.
