Popis:	Novel substituted benzoquinone compounds were synthesized from the reactions of p-chloranil and p-fluoranil with some thiols, amines, and diols in different reaction media. Interesting cyclic compounds like crown ether structures were obtained. The structures of all compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods and microanalysis.
