The history of acquaintance of A.L. Zhuravlev, a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Psychology of the Leningrad State University, with the founders of the Faculty of Psychology of the Yaroslavl State University (the head of the department, professor V.S. Filatov and dean, associate professor V.V. Novikov) in the autumn of 1971 is described. The events that followed Zhuravlev’s consent to go to work at YarSU are given: a trip to Yaroslavl, the work of the commission for the distribution of graduates, preparations for teaching the course "Psychology of Personality". The details of the meeting of the Department of General Psychology of the YarSU, which became the last for professor Filatov, are considered. Zhuravlev shares in detail his impressions of interaction with the professor and a sincere person. |
