Summary From the data presented here it would appear that: 1.There is a decrease in milk production on the day of breeding and the day following. 2.An apparently compensating increase takes place two days before breeding. 3.Individual cows show very wide differences in their production at this time. 4.Wide variations in behavior may be expected between different heat periods with the same individual. |
