Popis:	An example for designing radio systems with aperture synthesis is given. Considerable attention was paid to the study of the ambiguity functions in such systems and the region of their spatial spectral sensitivity. A new criterion for the broadband radars with spatially distributed antenna systems is proposed. This criterion, in contrast to the existing ones, takes into account the specificities of the antenna system geometry and the operating frequency range of the radar.
