Popis: | In summer 2014, catches of three tropical and subtropical fish species were registered at Sakhalin coast. The Japanese sea bass Lateolabrax japonicus was detected at Sakhalin coast for the first time, while the Japanese amberjack Seriola quinqueradiata was first detected in the Sea of Okhotsk waters sweeping the Sakhalin coast. The catch of the great white shark Carcharodon carcharias is the second confirmed case of this fish occurrence near the Sakhalin coast for the last 10 years. |
