Popis: | 1. A method has been worked out for solving the problem of obtaining optimum conditions for mixing automobile gasolines, taking into account octane numbers using research and motor methods, indices of volatility of the gasolines, sulfur content, and content of aromatic and unsaturated hydrocarbons, using a linear programming method, and carrying out calculations on an electronic calculating machine. The method may be used for calculations on the compounding of gasolines both in connection with existing and with planned production. 2. Using this method of calculation, the problems of determining the maximum production of high-octane gasolines from given quantities of components required to satisfy requirements for gasolines of given kinds in connection with minimum expenditure have been solved. |
