Popis: paper presents the application of direct simulation (DNS) method to the study of aerodynamic problems on the waveform surface of a supersonic aircraft and the influence of the waveform surface on the aerodynamic parameters of the aircraft. The waveform surface on supersonic aircraft often occurs such as fighter aircraft, rockets.These waveform surfaces can be caused by design intent or by placement of equipment on the surface.The results illustrated that this surface can increase drag and is the main cause of flow transitions from laminar to turbulent flow orseparation in supersonic flows
