Popis: | The study examines the amount of effort required by the markers when providing feedback on assignments via either a rubric or a graded category rating scale (GCRS). Marking effort was operationalised in terms of the amount of feedback provided. The data collected was: 1) Number of novel comments (comments written specifically for students and inserted into a specific place in the assignment), 2) the total word count of the novel comments, 3) word count of overall comments (summary comments that are not attached to a specific point in the assignment), and 4) number of pre-prepared comment (comments that are pre-prepared and then inserted into specific places in the assignment). The data was collected from 60 randomly selected assignments marked with a rubric and 60 randomly selected assignments marked with a GCRS. Survey SPSS |
