Popis:	It has been found that the deposition of iron sulfide scale can be altered considerably by addition of certain chemicals, e.g., formaldehyde, to aqueous system containing hydrogen sulfide. These chemicals modify the sulfide scale structure to render it an effective barrier to corrosion.
