Popis: | Direct or indirect trauma to the iris may damage the iris sphincter and yield a permanently dilated pupil. Patients with mydriatic pupils may experience glare, photophobia, loss of accommodation, decreased visual acuity, and reduced contrast sensitivity. Management options include corneal tattooing, an opaque contact lens, implantation of an artificial iris, as well as various iris suturing techniques. |
