This article presents the actions and results of the Extension Project Technological Capacity of Economic Organizations, funded by the State of Parana Government, through the Science, Technology and Higher Education State Secretariat, through the program University Without Borders and executed by the Universidade Estadual do Norte do Parana - UENP. This action aimed to train managers in relation to administrative functions and to advise the management practices in the functional areas of the organizations, stimulating the adoption of diffused and innovative management technologies. In order to achieve that, qualitative and quantitative descriptive research was carried out, using field strategy and participatory observation. The main results are: assistanceto 26 organizations by the project and the accomplishment of 208 procedures by the team in relation to the management practices used. The main problems observed and worked were: lack of financial controls and inadequate marketing policies for products and services, which limit the entrepreneurs’ growth capacity. |
