Popis: In the algorithm of equal residual height, the cutter contacts on the initial path are discretized along the direction of maximum flatness of the surface, which reduces the number of cutter contact point and increases the bandwidth. The equal residual height optimization algorithm after initial path optimization with self-adaptive tool axis vector is applied to the five-axis high-speed milling of free-form surface with annular cutter, and compared with the algorithm before initial path optimization, it is concluded that the method in this paper can be used as follows: It is also better to reduce the number of path segments and has better dynamic characteristics.
