Popis: | In this paper, the influence of thermal and thermo diffusion on convection heat and mass transfer in an electrically conducting power law flow over a heated porous plate in the presence of magnetic field has been considered. The similarity solution is used to transform the system of partial differential equations into a boundary value problem of coupled ordinary differential equations. Runge Kutta of sixth order has been used along with a shooting method for better accuracy. The results were presented as velocity, temperature, and concentration fields for pseudoplastic and dilatant fluids for different values of the embedded flow parameters. The results are presented graphically and the conclusion is drawn that the flow field and other quantities of physical interests are significantly influenced by these parameters. |
