Popis: This paper is dedicated to application of optical caustics method for noncontact determination of physical parameters of inhomogeneities in transparent stratified media. At propagation of the structured laser radiation in optical inhomogeneity determination of formed caustics coordinates gives additional opportunities for solving the inverse problem of reconstruction of the media physical properties, causing inhomogeneity of the refractive index. Two types of optical inhomogeneities are researched in this work: a diffusion layer of liquids and temperature fields near cooled objects in hot liquid. Experimental setups for determination the parameters of the diffusion layer of liquid and surface temperature of cooled body in hot water are shown.
