This article presents the results of the mapping of Popular Extension Brazilian experiences, which was developed in the context of the Project Extension Experiences in Popular Education and Health in the Unified Health System, which is an action of the National Policy of Popular Education in Health in the Unified Health System. The study has a qualitative and descriptive nature. A semi-structured electronic questionnaire containing 16 questions was applied. As a result, 117 experiments were obtained and the organization of the data included the following dimensions: regional distribution of experiences (by state of the federation); time of existence; institutions to which they are linked; participating social entities; and characterization of academic production. The existence of experiences in all regions of Brazil was identified. The Popular Education national amplitude, regional diffusion and thematic diversity were evidenced as reference of extensionist actions in different universities. |
