The purpose of the article is to study the influence of the size of vegetables on their storage life and to confirm the principle of the optimal size. It has been established that medium-sized vegetables, in most cases, are distinguished by the lowest natural loss, losses from decay, and total losses, compared with large and small ones. Plant organisms of optimal sizes have better storage life and longer life span, but their parameters are differentiated by types and varieties of vegetables. |
