Metastatic Carcinoma of the Breast Mimicking Clinically and Histologically a Primary Gastric Carcinoma: A Case Report

Popis:	The stomach is one of the frequent sites of metastasis from invasive lobular carcinoma of the breast. The clinical presentation and the endoscopic findings for metastasis carcinoma are nonspecific and may mimic that of a primary gastric tumor. The distinction between these two neoplasms may be very difficult but essential as the basis of the treatment is different. Histological and immunohistochemical analyses are the gold standard for establishing the diagnosis of the primary site. We report the case of a 68-yearold patient with metastatic breast cancer mimicking a primary stomach cancer.
