Popis: The instrument used to determine the specific equilibrium volumes of polymers in the 1–9000 kg/cm 2 pressure range and at temperatures up to 220°C is described. The specific volumes and isothermal compressibility factors are tabulated for PMMA; the glass temperatures and free volumes of OMMA have been determined as functions of pressure. The type of functions obtained is thought to be due to structural irregularities of the PMMA.
