Popis: This registration includes a revised analysis plan for a study examining the role of social norms and social support in shaping wildfire smoke and COVID-19 threat perceptions and mitigation behaviors. The revised analysis plan includes study motivation, objectives, hypotheses (including exploratory hypotheses), the sampling plan, the design plan, variables and created measures, the analysis plan, and references. The data was collected as a part of the Global Warming National Poll 2020 in partnership with Resources for the Future and ReconMR, however the measures used in this study have not been created or analyzed in any findings for the Global Warming National poll. The data used is from two samples, 1) a representative sample of adults in the U.S. surveyed using random digit dial telephone interviewing from May 28 to August 16, 2020 and 2) a convenience sample of adults in the U.S. surveyed and recruited online from August 11 to August 25, 2020.
