About the calculation of the load on the building at high-speed aircraft impact based on the Riera’s approach

Popis: The article considers the approach of J. Riera, which is used for calculation of loads on the structure during high-speed strike of the aircraft. This approach is important for ensuring the safety of buildings and structures of nuclear power plants and nuclear waste repositories. The assumptions that are used in this approach have been analyzed and it has established that the main one is the stiffness (non-deformability) of the structure (obstacle) during an aircraft strike. An assessment of this assumption is given on actual examples.
