Octagonal Nantenna for Space Research Applications

Popis: An octagonal nantenna has been proposed in this paper. The antenna is of $8\mathrm{x}14\mathrm{x}0.324\ \ \mathrm{mm}^{3}$ dimension and operates at 101.71 GHz frequency finding W-Band applications. The proposed nantenna gives a gain of 6.155dB and efficiency 98.6%. The antenna uses Rogers RT5880 substrate with copper platings on both sides. The terahertz response of the antenna makes it to use in space research applications.
