Popis:	The strength and elastic properties of cermets in the system ZrB2-ZrO2-W were obtained. It is shown that with an increase in the content of metal bond (tungsten) in the compositions studied the thermal shock resistance and elasticity modulus are increased. The mechanical characteristics completely satisfy the requirements of constructional materials.
