Siblings of children with disabilities are at greater risk for developing mental health concerns. There are many interventions that are shown to be effective in offering social, informational, and emotional support for siblings. Many programs incorporate learning through psychoeducational activities, and offer children strategies to build resilience and promote positive familial relationships. This scoping review aims to summarize and synthesize findings to identify supportive interventions and to describe the common design elements contributing to a successful intervention and implementation. |
