Popis: Baryon production and subsequent decay into K/sub s//sup 0/..lambda../sup 0/, ..lambda../sup 0/..pi../sup + -/, K/sub s//sup 0/..lambda../sup 0/..pi../sup + -/, and ..lambda../sup 0/..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/ final states is studied. Evidence for the states N(1710), ..sigma..(1385), ..sigma..(1620), ..sigma..(1690), ..sigma..(2250), ..xi..(1320), ..xi..(1530), ..xi..(1820), and ..xi..(1940) is presented. Ratios of x/sub f/ distributions and cross sections are compared to the predictions of phenomenological models.
