Popis:	(Fulvalene)hexacarbonyldirhenium (1) furnishes the first silylene fulvalenedimetal complex 3 by double Si−H activation. The solid-state structure of the molecule was determined by X-ray analysis and its solution dynamics by 1H NMR spectroscopy.
