Popis: The lecture highlights the morphofunctional organization of the visual sensory system. The structure of the organ of vision is presented, special attention is paid to the structures of the eye responsible for the conduction and perception of visible light. The features of the structure of the optical system of the eye, as well as the mechanisms of formation and circulation of aqueous humor in the eyeball are discussed. The prevalence of diseases of the organs of vision is shown and the most relevant types of pathology are highlighted. Modern high-tech diagnostic and therapeutic technologies used in diseases of the conjunctiva, dry eye syndrome, cataracts and glaucoma are highlighted. Modern individual optical devices for correction of accommodation disorders in adults and children (glasses, contact lenses, methods of refractive surgery) are shown.
