Effect of Material Properties on the Performance of Novel Low-k High-Q LTCC Compositions

Popis: Low dielectric constant (< 8) compositions targeting high Qf and low Tf values for use in high frequency communications, automotive ADAS, filters, resonators, antennas, and LTCC applications have been developed. These compositions have stable dielectric loss up to 70 GHz and sinter at low temperatures making them attractive for integration and LTCC packaging. The dielectric materials have enhanced mechanical properties and are co-fireable with low loss conductors (Ag). The effect of powder properties of newly developed LTCC compositions are correlated to the electrical and mechanical properties. The performance of these compositions have myriad applications in 5G and beyond technologies.
