Popis: Abstract We present our recently developed software, FracMan/dfnWorks, which illustrates the integration of two leading software technologies - dfnWorks (LANL) and FracMan (Golder Associates Inc.) - that are widely-known for accurate Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) simulations and site characterization, respectively. The developed software brings forth advanced meshing capabilities and new approach to fracture generation procedure. The new FracMan/dfnWorks software package allows one to extend the range of physical problems that can be simulated, making DFN models relevant to a wider range of engineering problems and users.
