The present study was conducted to determine the perceived social support levels of women who undergo infertility treatment and their adjustment to the infertility problem. The study had a descriptive and relational design, and was conducted with 190 women who were being treated at the IVF Unit of a training and research hospital in Istanbul. The data were collected with the “Patient Information Form”, “Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support” (MSPSS), and Fertility Adjustment Scale. The Mann Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis H Test, and Pearson Correlation Analysis were used in the analysis of the data. The mean total MSPSS score of the participants was found to be 63.92±15.90, and the mean total Fertility Adjustment Scale score was 22.93±4.39.
