Popis: Of late there has been a return to the consideration of basic concepts such as temporal structures, process, crisis and revolution within the guild of historians in Germany. The basic premise of this paper is that any evolutionary theory of culture should take account not only of the proven methods of historical research but should also consider the explanatory paradigms enunciated by historians in their attempts to explain the myriads of events constituting the history of man.
