Popis:	It is shown that the radial dependence of the central and spin-orbit parts of the shell model potential, evaluated numerically in a preceding paper, can be described with a high degree of accuracy by a simple, but unconventional, explicit function, whose heuristic role is probably not restricted to calculational convenience only.
